Yes, I’m that unnecessarily competitive.
This all started after the first test when I got 94%.
…and then I saw that someone else got 99%.
I was very angry and decided that I had to beat that person (whoever it was).
Now I’m beasting. \o/
Yes, my motivation for getting good grades in bio is driven solely by my desire to beat that person who got 99%.
I freak out thinking that someone’s in my house or something.
But luckily I’m on the phone with Sam, who can call the police for me if something happens.
I tell Sam that I heard a noise and I’m home alone and I don’t know what it is and I’m scared.
She responds: “Cool.”
I hope something really scary happens to her just so I can tell her that I think it’s cool.
They honored every vow. And where are they now? They’re dead.

A dictionary is knowledge, it will tell you what something is.
A thesaurus is potential, it will tell you what something can be.
Besides, it’s a friggin’ dinosaur.

A dictionary is realism: it tells you what things truly are and really mean.
A thesaurus is a poser: it gives you substitutes to stand in place of what you REALLY were going to say. A thesaurus is fake wood. I just don’t like the way all those synonyms are pretending to be wood. If you’re not wood, then don’t try to look like wood. It’s a lie. Just be up front. Tell people who you really are.
